KISSM
At the Kamloops Music Collective, we have been proud to run the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music (KISSM) for over 45 years! While this program is built on a foundation of music educators and musicians wanting to offer music education in the Summer, we believe more than anything that our program not only provides music education opportunities, but allows our participants to find more than music. Our programs help them to find fun, to find mentorship, to find a like minded community, to find inspiration and to find themselves.
Some funding may be available. Please contact Mrs Froese (ljfroese@sd73.bc.ca) to learn more.

RLC Track & Field Meets - Volunteers Needed - May 7 and May 8
Thank you to Mrs. Strom, Mrs. Wilmot, and Mrs. Macdonald for their work behind the scenes to organize our upcoming Primary and Intermediate Track and Field Meets.
Students in Grade K-3 at RLC will be participating in the Primary Track and Field Meet at RLC on Wednesday, May 7. The Primary students will be participating in modified events to help build the foundational skills in track and field. Students in Grades 4-7 will be participating in the Intermediate Track and Field Meet at RLC on Thursday, May 8..
These Meets would not be possible without the tremendous support we receive from our families with volunteering their time to run various events. Thanks to those who have already signed up to volunteer for one or both of our Track and Field Meets. We are still in need of at least 20 more volunteers, so please consider volunteering if you are able to.
Last year, we had an incredible amount of volunteers come out to support our Track Meet. Thank you!
In order to hold a successful school Track and Field Meet once again, many volunteers are needed and appreciated. We require support with both our track events (60/80/100/200/300m) and field events (shot put, high jump, triple jump, shot put). We are looking for approximately 20 volunteers on each day to assist with the various events.
Volunteer Sign-up: If you are able to help out for the full or partial day on either or both days, please respond to the Google Form: Volunteers - RLC Track and Field Meets 2025. You can indicate which area you would like to help with (for example, if you have experience with a certain event, we would love to have your expertise at that station, or would like to help out with the concession, please indicate on the Form).
In addition, our wonderful PAC has offered to organize a concession stand which will also require a lot of parent volunteers. All students in Grades K-7 will have an opportunity to purchase items at the concession (more information on this to be sent home at a later date). The concession stand will only be open on Thursday, May 8.
Should you have any questions, please email Mrs. Leggett at jleggett@sd73.bc.ca
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
